Maine Coast Welcome Center is your local source for the secrets of a great Maine vacation. Family owned by Maine natives; Jim & Patti Cromwell LeClair are committed to sharing their lifelong knowledge of the Great State of Maine and it's perfect vacations with visitors. Our visitors are our guests.
Located just 2 miles from downtown Belfast, Maine Coast Welcome Center is the perfect spot for guests to stop for Maine Information, to make reservations, to use the restroom, gather a snack & a drink, check their email, and to let the kids and dogs out for a little break. We have a fabulous ocean view overlooking Penobscot Bay.
Maine Coast Welcome Center is the source for knowledge about local Places To Stay, Places To Eat, & Things To Do in Maine. We qualify our guests to help them find the best fit for their specific needs. It's quite tricky. As Patti asks, when folks are looking for lodging in Acadia, "Do you want to be On the Water, Near the Water, or See the Water? Do you want to be In Bar Harbor or Near Bar Harbor, On the Island or Off the Island? Do you prefer Hotels, motels, inns, B&B's or camping?"
