"We were driving through Maine on a motorcycle trip from Michigan and stopped into the Maine Coast Welcome Center - I can't remember the lady's name who was working there, but she recommended a bunch of lighthouses for us to see, a lookout area and suggested we go to Boothbay Harbor for whale watching - she even gave us the brochure for $5 off...she was soooo helpful with all of the places she suggested (which she was spot on about how beautiful they were!!)and so very nice. After our trip we were hoping we could find a website to type her a thank you note so I hope this gets to her. thank you again, we had a wonderful trip and a lot of it was because of your recommendations! You helped us get a hotel because we where heading to Bar Harbor and he didnt have any place to stay. I just want to thank you for all the help,and info. we remember your cockerspaniel, Bear. Yesterday we came back from our USA/Canada-trip. Perhaps you remember me: I had problems with the calling card I had bought at the Dollarstore(?).
You made a reservation for us at the Moorings Inn and it was really wonderful there. Such a relaxing atmosphere and such a wonderful view over the harbor! You also told us about the Seafood Ketch and we went there for dinner. We had a delicious meal there and enjoyed the place very much. You made our second day of our vacation so wonderful. Thank you very much!! It would be wonderful to find so helpful people like you at every visitor center."

"On our way to Bar Harbor, we drove passed this little information center, we decided to stop by for some recommendation to any local good eat and attractions. We thought we were just going in to crab some pamphlets, but out of our surprised, this lovely couple who run a really beautiful center gave us such warm welcome when we came in. They gave us great tips for where to visit and great recommendation for all the great places to eat around Bar Harbor and even Augusto. If you ever travel passed Maine, stop by Maine Coast Welcome Center, this lovely couple, oh, and their cute pet dog, will be there welcome you in."
