Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) is a 109-bed, full-service community hospital overlooking beautiful Penobscot Bay in Rockport, Maine.

We offer inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, Special Care Unit, Surgical Services Department, Obstetrics & Gynecology Department, and the Psychiatric Addiction & Recovery Center.

PBMC provides diagnostic, treatment and support services that meet special community needs through Mid-Coast Speech & Hearing, Choice Skyward substance abuse counseling, Nurturing Families of Knox County, Healthy Families of Knox County and Health Connections occupational medicine.
