This time our year we work closely with our business partners, calling on availability for our guests and getting calls about specials. Our new Concierge Maps make it easy for guests to find our partners. We are very busy at the Maine Coast Welcome Center, with our 3000th guest signing our guest register. Wow! 3000 trips planned. That's a lot of places to stay, places to eat, and things to do!

The Bar Harbor Police Department has informed the Chamber that Route 3 traffic will be detoured beginning on Friday, July 16th at 7 AM not 12 PM until Sunday, July 18th beginning at the Hull's Cove entrance to Acadia National Park to West Street Extention.
Trucks will be detoured at the head of the island to Route 102/198 to Route 233.
The area between the Acadia National Park Visitors Center entrance and West Street Extention will be restricted to residents and hotel guests only.
